Fade Removal
Permanent makeup removal in Ottawa
I fade permanent makeup — eyeliner, lip blush and lip liner — with the Candela PicoWay picosecond laser. Most clients need a series of short sessions spaced several weeks apart, with minimal downtime. Sessions take 15–30 minutes inside a 1-hour booking, inside Be U Lounge on Merivale Road. Pricing is confirmed at your consultation.
How it works
- Consultation. I assess the pigment, its colour and placement, and we talk honestly about what fading can achieve.
- Treatment. Gentle laser passes over the area, with protection for your eyes wherever needed.
- Healing. Redness or swelling settles over a few days with simple aftercare.
- Review. We check the fade at each visit and adjust the plan until you're happy.
Is it right for you?
If your permanent makeup has shifted colour, blurred, or simply doesn't suit you anymore, fading it is a calm, gradual option. Some pigments need extra care, so an in-person assessment always comes first.
Most people can be treated safely, but please tell me first if any of these apply to you:
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have taken Accutane (isotretinoin) in the last 6 months.
- The area has recent sun exposure, a tan, or self-tanner.
- You take a photosensitizing medication.
